I personally loved staying at the Aloft. The bed was so comfy. Location was right in the middle of everything. We didn’t have a balcony room unfortunately but it was an easy walk down to the pool to watch the sunset. We were able to bring our dog with us which is a huge plus. I also wanted to say I never use hotel shampoo and conditioner but decided to try because it was Dry Bar and my hair never felt better. The only downfall is it is exclusive to Aloft so you cannot find the shampoo and conditioner in stores. Glad we stayed at Aloft for my first Ocean City experience.

Check-in was listed as at 4pm, our room want ready until almost 5pm. The air in the building smells like they are pumping lysol disinfectant through the A/C system. Also they have a club/bar on the first floor, so if you're anywhere on the same wing you can hear that lovely full base music up into the wee hours of the night. Like a hotel should be where you can relax, and yet we couldn't sleep until the music finally cut off at 1am. And why was it quieter sleeping outside on the balcony then in the bed in my hotel room. Would not recommend and I will not be going back even if I was paid to

STAY AWAY! BUYER BEWARE! Not only was room not clean, there was black mold in the shower as well. Noisy with kids running up and down hallway. Worse, they charged us $300 for damage, ie a "big hole in the wall" which they claimed was found "immediately after" we checked out. There was no hole when we were there, and we didn't do anything to cause one. We are in our 60's; stayed one quick night and got up early to continue our vacation. We are protesting the charge, but essentially its our word against theirs. In all the years of travel I have never experienced such fraud, let alone from a major hotel brand. FYI, when we called about the charge the woman essentially said "too bad" and hung up. Twice. We will dispute the credit charge, but now you see their customer "service."
