Unfortunately, I was expecting this place to be like it was before COVID. However, I was totally disappointed. There were only around 10 ten people there. An hour between each event, even my 8 yr old grandson said memom this is boring lol. No longer is there a train ride, which was fun because they reinacted a train robbery. There were no longer the horse rides. It was nothing like I remember. I go to this beach every year, been going for years. I couldn't wait to take my grandson to Frontier town. Wow, what a disappointment. I understand things change. However, this was not a change for the better. They have the train there as if it's part of history now, non working, with a sign describing what it used to be. 🙄 We only saw 2 cowboys walking around. It was more like a Ghost town instead of a Frontier town.

had an amazing time honestly first time camping, we loved the water park and they have a laundromat so we washed our clothes, only bad experience was my girlfriend left a pair of shoes in the water park while we went in to grab a towel we had forgotten and we came back and they were stolen:(

I would love to be able to give a 5 star review. However, there are issues that need to be addressed. It's a great spot for camping and vacation. It's relaxing and breezy by the water.

But. With all the money that is paid to camp there, certain parts of the campground should be closed to the general public. Also, all rules need to be applicable for all!

Some of the lifeguards at the water park were of no use. There were several incidents that some of the users of the Lazy River were without tubes. A clear violation of the rules. One of your lifeguards issued warnings to a couple of girls, but no action was taken to make sure they would abide by the rules.

There was smoking and open containers of alcohol in the pool. There was an issue with music being played on the 4th during the parade. Some were told that our "patriotic" music was being played too loudly.

However, at the pool, music was being played that was inappropriate for children to hear, and it was louder than the patriotic music. One "ranger" said it needed to be turned down. Yet, as soon as he left, the music was turned back up.

There was also a lot of horseplay in and around the pool. Several people were almost hit by a football being thrown around the pool. Nothing was said or done to quell the disturbance.

Bike and golf cart riding through the campground after dark is allowed for some but not for others. Paying to use your own cart is nonsense! Gas powered carts were being used, even though they have been banned.
